Unplanned Road Trip To Gangotri

Unplanned road trip from Dehradun to Gangotri (Twice)

It was fun and refreshing. When i was in 2nd year of my college, just exposed to the free environment of the living world want to see places often tendency of most of the beings and i am one of them.

we 7 started our trip from Dehradun --> Rishikesh --> [again back to] Dehradun(stay) --> Mussoorie --> George-Everest --> Yamnotri ghati --> Harsil --> Gangotri

  

Basically its unplanned we decided overnight in Dehradun to go Gangotri(normally we are calling the one end of the INDIA & even the religious shrine for Hindu). we all were excited and decided how to go gangotri, one of my friend said to rent a bike and move and everyone agreed at ones.

We took four conditioned bike from " gimmebyk rentals" from dehradun and started our journey and everyone was new to the hilly areas no one was aware of anything we all were just going with the flow.

As everyone was going to be an engineer and frustrated from their life and need escape from their life. Everyone was struggling with their own life and its a part of life and one need to overcome and move forward and gracefully in life to become successful.

We were totally depended on Google map and even followed that eventually it helps.

So basically HOW I REACHED GANGOTRI??

I already told that i rent a bike that cost me around 1200 each with two times full tank petrol.

Totally depended on a google map. and we started in afternoon from dehradun but first visited GEORGE EVEREST in MUSSOORIE then en-route kemptyfall and started my first road trip of  my life it was almost evening when i left the known place.

From Dehradun to Gangotri via mussoorie is 242km.
